Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Mediator, & Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner

My life since graduation…
I completed my professional life at The University of Sydney in 2019 after 31 years of service as Professor of Psychology and Professor of Music and entered full time private practice as Principal, DTK Consulting. I continue in that endeavour to this day with no thoughts whatsoever of retiring! I am a council member of the University of Sydney Association of Professors (USAP) and a member of the Australian Association of University Professors (AAUP) whose brief it is to restore to prominence the 10 pillars of a university (https://usap.sydney.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/The-10-Pillars-of-a-University.pdf). The photos show me in my other incarnations – school counsellor and Director, Australian Centre for Applied Research in Music Performance, Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
I have a propensity for taking on highly controversial issues in psychology. Currently, much of my clinical, consulting, and academic work is taken up with gender dysphoria in children and adolescents, where I have witnessed runaway social contagion and almost total institutional capture by trans rights activists of the medical, legal, and education professions. Sadly, I count many universities, both local and abroad, as purveyors of a flawed and fallacious ideology. I have just published my 12th book – Gender ideology, social contagion, and the making of transgender generation https://www.cambridgescholars.com/product/978-1-0364-1478-8 on this subject. Spread the word that gender ideology is junk science!
